01 · Prepare

Start with the block

Clean away dust and loose material, apply masonry bonding primer, then paint the entire face white and allow it to cure.

02 · Paint

Follow the sequence

  1. White base
  2. Red stripes
  3. Blue canton
  4. White stars
  5. Matte masonry sealer

03 · Fabricate

Print or cut

Import the SVG files into CAD for extrusion, or cut them from thin wood or plastic. Add registration stops and roughly 1/16-inch clearance per side for reliable placement.

Concrete blocks vary slightly and their corners are rounded. Measure several actual blocks before producing a final reusable frame, and make a small test-fit section before committing to the full print or cut.
